2020 English Garden Tours
English gardens are made to be enjoyed. They are family gardens at heart, holding centuries of lived-in history. At Violets & Tea, we want you to experience England's best gardens as they truly are.
Rather than simply passing through or taking a few pretty photos, we believe the best gardens must be experienced with all the senses. Think of afternoon tea in the garden of a 400-year-old estate; sipping on a flute of Champagne at the Chelsea Flower Show; or a glass of Pimms while visiting a garden normally closed to the public. These touches come as standard on a Violets & Tea tour.
Head gardeners provide intimate insight into their creations. Estate owners guide you behind the scenes. Special access ensures you avoid the crowds. Guest speakers provide endless inspiration.
Supplementing our garden experiences are charming English villages, glorious landscapes, sumptuous dining, and an attention to detail that makes your holiday memorable. You’ll return home refreshed and inspired. So sit back, relax, and let us show you the best England has to offer.
What Makes Violets and Tea's Tours Special?
Our relaxed and friendly tours are conducted in small groups of up to 15 guests so that you can be assured of personalised service and attention, and can share new experiences with like-minded people who enjoy gardens as much as you do.
We carefully select gardens that are beautiful, interesting and hold historical importance. And we use our extensive contacts to obtain exclusive access to gardens not generally available to the public.
We believe that where you stay makes the difference between a good holiday and an unforgettable one. We take the greatest care in choosing small, luxury hotels that are truly exceptional in terms of style, location and service, and that offer the quintessential English experience.
We believe that great company and great times involve great food. So we include exquisite local dining experiences on our tours to add to your enjoyment. Additionally, each of our tours include welcome and farewell dinners so that you can get to know the other guests in a relaxed environment.
Our experienced coach drivers transfer you to your destinations seamlessly. With power sockets, complimentary WiFi, leather seats and climate control, you can catch up online, stay in touch with home and relax in comfort while enjoying the picturesque English landscape.
We supplement our garden visits with charming English villages, private excursions and unique experiences. All to ensure you have a memorable tour.
At Violets & Tea, it is important to us that you leave our tours inspired.
Above all, we believe there is nothing more English than drinking tea in an English garden!
